Window unit sparks fire at Zebulon duplex
Authorities believe a window heating unit prompted a fire that displaced several Zebulon residents Monday night.
Posted — UpdatedZEBULON, N.C. — Authorities believe a window heating unit prompted a fire that displaced several Zebulon residents Monday night.
Crews responded to a fire at a duplex 804 Shepard School Road just before 10:30 p.m.
Authorities said residents from the duplex where the fire started as well as the duplex next door were unable to return home Monday night.
At least one woman, who used a walker to get around, had to be helped out of the home by authorities.
