Soldier faces additional child porn charges

FORT BRAGG, N.C. — Michael Christopher Skeen faces a total of 20 charges related to child pornography, the Cumberland County Sheriff's Office said Tuesday.

Skeen, 21, is a soldier stationed at Fort Bragg. His rank and unit were not available. He was arrested July 31 after sheriff's detectives found child pornography on his computer.

He was initially charged with five counts of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor and five counts of third-degree sexual exploitation of a minor. After further investigation, deputies added to his charges.
