Six injured in four-car Johnston County wreck; 37-year-old charged
A 37-year-old man was charged with DWI early Saturday after a four-car wreck on U.S. Highway 70 near downtown Princeton sent six people to the hospital, North Carolina State Highway Patrol officials said.

According to investigators, Rodney Goods was traveling east on U.S. 70 when he ran a red light in a Chevrolet SUV at about 7:45 a.m. near Pine Street. The SUV hit another vehicle, which was driven by 19-year-old Mary Bennett from Princeton.
After the initial crash, the SUV also hit two others cars.
Bennett was pinned inside her vehicle and taken to WakeMed with serious injuries, including a broken collar bone. Five others were taken to local hospitals with minor injuries, troopers said.
Goods suffered minor injuries in the wreck, but he refused to go to the hospital. He was also charged with driving with a revoked license, felony inflicting serious injury, running a red light, a vehicle registration violation and three counts of damage to personal property.
Troopers said Goods refused a breath test, so a warrant was obtained to test his blood alcohol level. After the test, Goods was also charged with DWI.
He was in the Johnston County jail Saturday under a $60,000 secured bond.
