Silver Alert issued for Clayton woman

The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Thursday evening for Marilyn Louise Lesane

CLAYTON, N.C. — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Thursday evening for Marilyn Louise Lesane, who is believed to be suffering from dementia or some other cognitive impairment.

Lesane, 54, was last seen at 313 E. Champion St. in Clayton. Police there think she may be headed to Greenville in the company of her son, Allen Wayne Faison.

Lesane is described as a black woman, 5 feet tall, weighing about 150 pounds with graying hair and brown eyes. Her son is a 27-year-old black man, 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 350 pounds.

The pair is believed to be traveling in a red 2001 four-door Chevrolet Cavalier with North Carolina license plate WYA7054.
