Clayton, N.C. — Richard Alexander Biever, 65, was found in Augusta, Ga., Wednesday, four days after he walked away from a Clayton group home.
The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Sunday afternoon for Biever, who is believed to have some cognitive impairment.
Police Biever took a bus to Georgia and by Wednesday afternoon was waiting safely at the Charlie Norwood VA Medical Center for a caregiver to pick him up.
