— Harnett County authorities were searching early Wednesday for a 12-year-old who is believed to be cognitively impaired.

The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for Tylia Juanteria Nelson at about 4:45 a.m. after she went missing from a home at 123 Fuller Dr.

Nelson, who also goes by Cookie or Punchie, is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 130 pounds. She has short black hair and brown eyes, and authorities said she could be wearing a black wig.

It's unclear where Nelson may be headed. Anyone with information on Nelson's whereabouts should call the Harnett County Sheriff's Office at 910-893-9111.
