Dogs, volunteers join search for missing Fort Bragg soldier
Organizers praised a good turnout Saturday in the on-going search for a missing Fort Bragg soldier who disappeared more than a year ago.

Searchers gathered at 9 a.m. Saturday at a Marathon Gas Station on Ramsey Street off Elliott Bridge Road for a briefing by Al Mignacci, then dispersed into the brush to look for clues to Bordeaux's disappearance.
Mignacci, of Raleigh, has worked on the successful search for other missing people, including Kelly Morris, who went missing in Granville County in 2008.
He has been recognized at the national level for his volunteerism. "Whether it's searching for a missing person or helping someone along the side of the road with a broken tire, it doesn't matter to me," Mignacci has said.
The Army recently declared Bordeaux legally dead, making her family eligible for survivor's benefits. She grew up in St. Cloud, Fla., and her husband was living in the Sunshine State at the time of her disappearance.
