— A Scotland County minister has been charged with having sex with a juvenile, authorities said Monday.

Darryl Todd, 32, of Pembroke, was charged on Aug. 23 with three counts of statutory rape. The charges stem from alleged sexual encounters with a 14-year-old girl in April and May, said Capt. Kim Monroe of the Laurinburg Police Department.

Todd, the senior pastor of Spring Branch Missionary Baptist Church in Wagram, was released on a $50,000 unsecured bond.

Lesson learned - just because someone carries a religious title - e.g. "minister"/"pastor" and reads/quotes something from the Bible, doesn't necessary mean that he/she is a good person. As it reported by this story, this "minister" - a.k.a. Darryl Todd, 32, of Pembroke is purely evil.
