The "blue code of silence" in NC is strong amongst NC LEO....wrong, I dont think so. It's every man/woman for themselves around here. I wish LEO could have a sdtronger allegiance to on another but it simply doesn't happen here anymore...at least where I come from

Looks like good ole' boy Roy's department is going to have to sweep some more law enforcement criminal activity under the rug. Anytime the SBI investigates, rest assured the law enforcement officers will never be held accountable, it's the way things are down here in NC.

If you have a badge you can murder without fear of facing accountability. Better yet, if you have a law enforcement certification and are fired by one department you can be hired by another by the end of the week. Never mind REVOKING the certification, the bad ones just go from one department to the next.

The "blue code of silence" is strong amongst NC law enforcement and wide reaching.

josephwilm....You have your facts incorrect. The SBI has investigated many Police/Deputies and their agencies over the years and many officers have been charged criminally as a direct result. Durham, Wake, Orange and Granville Counties just right off come to mind..and all these agencies within the past 10 years alone, so yes.. they do find guilt against other officers.

It is amazing. In all the years of the GREAT S.B.I., not one time have they found wrong doing by any law enforcement department. Do you really think they will find anything wrong here? Just recently a 112 pound man had his neck broken in jail by Wilmington NC deputies and he died. No wrong found here, Deputies fowling procedure. Deputies kill 2 people in separate incidents again in Wilmington, nothing wrong here again. OOh but each case was lost in civil court law suit. I wounder how that happen? Could the S.B,I be wrong? Every time?
