Police are asking for the public's help Sunday to find an 11-year-old boy who disappeared from his home in Salisbury.

<b>SALISBURY, N.C.</b> — Salisbury police are asking for the public's help Sunday to find an 11-year-old boy who disappeared from his home.

James Timothy Greene, who goes by Timothy or Tim, was last seen Friday night at his home on Holmes Avenue. 

Authorities said he might be a runaway, but because he's only 11, they are concerned for his wellbeing.

Greene's adoptive father told WBTV in Charlotte that he hopes the boy is somewhere safe.
