Roxboro Police Investigate Man's Death
Police on Wednesday continued to investigate the death of a man whose body was found in his home Sunday.
Posted — UpdatedOfficers responding to a 911 hang-up call at about 5 p.m. Sunday entered the residence at 108 Yarborough St. through an open rear door and found Steve Yarborough unconscious inside the home, police said.
Person County EMS responded to the scene and pronounced Yarborough dead, police said. His body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office in Chapel Hill for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
The State Bureau of Investigation is assisting Roxboro police in the investigation.
