Rocky Mount man missing

Eric Levon Battle, 46, is black, stands approximately 6 feet tall, weighs 175 pounds, has black hair, brown eyes and a gray beard.

He was last seen leaving 100 Grange St. in Rocky Mount wearing a brown jacket, blue jeans, a plaid shirt, black boots and a black bandana, police said.

Battle's brother said that Battle has previously disappeared for days to weeks but investigators said that he has not had any contact with his family and that they have exhausted all their leads in trying to find him.

Battle is known to frequent malls and parks, authorities said.
