Roanoke Rapids Man Charged With Child Sex Abuse
The Halifax Sheriff's Office charged a Roanoke Rapids man with child sex abuse, officials announced.

ROANOKE RAPIDS, N.C. — The Halifax Sheriff's Office charged a Roanoke Rapids man with child sex abuse, officials announced.
Bobby Holcomb faces one count of indecent liberties with a child, detectives said. Holcomb turned himself into the sheriff's office on Monday after a joint investigation by the Department of Social Services and the sheriff's office.
Detectives did not release more details of the allegations against Holcomb.
He was placed in Halifax County Jail under a $5,000 bond. His first court appearance was set for Dec. 5.
