DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police said Friday that rewards are being offered for tips that solve three slayings over the past year.

Michael Orlando Hunter, 30, was found dead from a gunshot wound in his crashed BMW on an exit ramp from the Durham Freeway onto Fayetteville Street on June 18. Investigators think the shooting might have stemmed from a fight at a club a week earlier.

Timothy Deangelo McGhee, 24, and Paul Anthony Noel Jr., 22, died on Jan. 8 when someone fired into a house at 1212 Dawkins St., police said.

Crime Stoppers has offered cash rewards for anonymous tips that solve either homicide case. Anyone with information about the cases is asked to call Durham police at 919-560-4440, extension 29337 or Crime Stoppers at 919-6831200.
