Reward offered in Durham home invasion

The victim, a 25-year-old woman, told officers that two men kicked her front door in around 1:40 a.m. They demanded money and punched her several times in the head and face, police said.

DURHAM, N.C. — A Crime Stoppers reward is being offered for information about a home invasion and assault on Jan. 23 on Clark Street in Durham.

The victim, a 25-year-old woman, told officers that two men kicked her front door in around 1:40 a.m. They demanded money and punched her several times in the head and face, police said.

The woman escaped by jumping out of a window. She was taken to Duke University Hospital for treatment of her injuries.

The men took the victim’s purse, wallet and laptop computer.

The suspects were described as two black men in their late teens or early 20s. They were wearing hoodies and dark jeans.
