Restrooms closed at Cary park through spring

Starting today, Cary crews will close the restrooms at the popular Ritter Park in Cary.

Renovations of the 26-year-old facility will continue through the end of April. While they are closed, accessible toilets and a hand washing station will be placed next to the existing facility.

The renovations will include replacement of plumbing fixtures, new finishes and the renovation of two family restrooms.

Other parts of the park - the playground, ball fields, picnic shelter and basketball court - will remain open.

The park is at 301 Lochmere Drive West in Cary.
