RALEIGH, N.C. — A registered sex offender is in trouble with the law again.

James Rudolph Freeman, 50, of 1913 Peach Creek Court in Raleigh, is facing a charge of taking indecent liberties with a child, according to arrest warrants.

Police said the charge involves inappropriately touching a young girl.

Freeman is also charged with failure to report a change of address and being on the premises of a child care center, the warrants state.

Police said Freeman was employed at the Quality Education Institute of Raleigh. However, officers said the alleged sexual offense did not occur at the child care center.

Freeman was being held Wednesday on a $1 million bond. He is due in court Thursday.
