Charges dismissed, Raleigh woman's record cleared

RALEIGH, N.C.Editor's Note: All charges against Maureen Elizabeth Horn were later dismissed and her criminal record expunged as of July 2020.

Police on Sunday arrested a woman accused of stabbing a man with a steak knife, according to an arrest warrant.

Maureen Elizabeth Horn, 32, of 1313 Hedgelawn Way, Raleigh, was charged with one count of assault with a deadly weapon.

Horn is accused of stabbing James Joseph Iadanza with the knife in his right arm. The warrant does not say where the alleged crime occurred or why.

The severity of the injury was unclear Sunday afternoon.

Horn was being held without bond Sunday afternoon and was scheduled to appear Monday in Wake County District Court.
