Raleigh woman, 27, subject of Silver Alert

The Wake County Sheriff's Office was searching Sunday for a missing 27-year-old Raleigh woman who is believed to be cognitively impaired.

RALEIGH, N.C. — The Wake County Sheriff's Office was searching Sunday for a missing 27-year-old Raleigh woman who is believed to be cognitively impaired.

Tamisha L. Brown was last seen at  2726 Newsome Street. The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert for her around 12:45 a.m. Sunday.

Brown is described as black, with short, black hair and brown eyes. She stands 5 feet 6 inches tall and weighs about 150 pounds. 

She was last seen wearing a peach and pink dress and black shoes.

A photo was not immediately available.

Anyone with information on her whereabouts is asked to call the sheriff's office at 919-856-6911.
