The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Sunday afternoon for Rebecca Allen Brown, 19, of Raleigh.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Sunday afternoon for Rebecca Allen Brown, 19, of Raleigh.

Authorities did not immediately say why Brown might qualify for the alert, which is used to help alert the public when people with cognitive impairment are missing and possibly in danger.

Brown is described as a white woman, about five feet tall and 110 pounds. She had long brown hair and blue eyes.

She was last seen at 3304 Glen Royal Road in Raleigh, a residential area due east of William B. Umstead State Park.
