Tyree Lee, 17, is accused of slamming the 15-year-old victim to the ground and then punching him several times in the face.

Police say the fight happened inside the 2200 Wakefield Pines Drive school at about 7 a.m.

The victim, whose name was withheld, was transported to the hospital.

According to court records, he will need several reconstructive surgeries as part of his recovery.

Wow, this kid is SO cool, to have to have assistance with 2 others..honestly what did this kid do that was so bad that he had to beat him this badly? I realize fights are apparently going to happen but honestly...when he gets locked up for some time, I am sure he is in for some payback..well deserved. This whole story just ticks me off. Where were the teachers...I feel the parents outrage and this is not even my child...

"A 17-year-old who is still a freshman should tell you something"

Heck, there is a 14 year old in my kid's 7th grade class. And of course, everyone is afraid of him. He's bigger than anyone else, beats people up and intimidates the other kids. I'm sure its someone else's fault.

MOMMIPROUD - And what sort of "reason" would you deem appropriate for an assault of this magnitude? I have 2 children......and I honestly can't think of one. Praying for the victim and the family.

A 17 y.o. 9th grader. Most are 14. That's a problem. But what do you do with someone who can't, or won't, do the work? It's not like it's overly difficult...

if you think that cheerleader deserves jail time for intent to sell drugs.
    PTA mom

Ok. Read my next comment. He needs to go to prison for awhile since he could have taken the person's life. Its like inflicting injury on someone. You can join either one there and help them through their issues.

If you post anything saying this kid is a criminal.....your post probably won't get through.
