Raleigh police seek to ID two robbery suspects

Raleigh police are seeking the public's help in identifying two men who police say robbed a cab driver in the early morning hours Dec. 7.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh police are seeking the public's help in identifying two men who police say robbed a cab driver in the early morning hours Dec. 7. 

Police say two men robbed a cab driver after he took them from the 6200 block of Capital Boulevard to the 1100 block of Lehman Lane. One of the suspects held a weapon against the side of the driver while the other man took his money. 

One man is described as a black male in his teens. He has a thin build and stands about 5 feet 7 inches tall. The other man is described as a black male in his early 20s. He stands about 6 feet 1 inches tall and was wearing a dark sweatshirt with "DUKE" on the front. 

Anyone who recognizes the suspects or knows about the incident is asked to call Raleigh Crime Stoppers at 919-834-4357. Crime Stoppers pays cash rewards for anonymous tips that help solve cases.
