Posted April 22, 2012

— Raleigh police are looking for information in the robbery of an Internet sweepstakes business on Hillsborough Street earlier this month.

On April 12 around 5 a.m., police said, an armed man entered the business, at 3801-121 Hillsborough St., struck an employee with a handgun and ran away with an undisclosed amount of cash.

The employee, who was not seriously injured, and a customer were both inside the store at the time.

The robber is described as a black man with a medium build who stands about 5 feet 10 inches. In surveillance images released Sunday, he is wearing dark clothing and a hat, and he has a mustache.

Anyone with information is asked to Crime Stoppers at 919-834-HELP.
