<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — Raleigh police were investigating a shooting Saturday afternoon outside a Lowe’s Foods store.

The shooting happened near 2900 East Millbrook Road just after 3 p.m., police said.

Paramedics transported Jerry Ernest Simon Jr., 30, to WakeMed for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, police said. He was in fair condition on Sunday, hospital officials said.
