A Raleigh police officer was involved in a multi-car accident on Saturday night at the intersection of New Hope Road and New Bern Ave.

<b>RALEIGH, N.C.</b> — A Raleigh police officer was involved in a multi-car crash on Saturday night at the intersection of New Hope Road and New Bern Avenue.

Two vehicles collided after the officer was traveling down New Hope Road, and another vehicle attempted to turn on to New Hope Road.

Investigators are working to determine which vehicle had the light/right of way.

The drivers of both vehicles suffered minor injuries.

Police say they will keep roads blocked off until at least midnight.
