RALEIGH, N.C. — A suspect, police say, is responsible for a July 17 burglary of a Raleigh restaurant is being linked to other crimes.

The suspect robbed the Quiznos, 6701-102 Glenwood Ave., on July 17. Photos taken from surveillance video have led officers to believe that the same suspect is likely connected to other nighttime burglaries.

The suspect has stolen cash from the businesses and has also taken random items such as: a bottle of tequila from Jax Sports Grill, 2300 Gorman Street, and a bouquet of flowers from Ming Rose Florist, 2308 Wake Forest Road. Those items were stolen on Aug. 1.

The suspect is tall and heavyset, with light-colored skin. He often wears blue pants, a black T-shirt, black boots and balaclava-type hood.

Anyone who thinks they might know the identity of the suspect is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department’s Detective Division at 919-890-3555 or Crime Stoppers at 919-226-CRIME.
