A Raleigh police officer was injured Thursday morning in a vehicle collision on Poole Road at Carya Drive, a spokesman said.

The officer was making a U-turn when his patrol car and another vehicle collided. Police said the cruiser was hit from behind.<br />

The officer was taken to Wake Med with minor injuries. No other injuries were reported and the cause of the wreck had not been determined.
