RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh woman and her two sons who went missing more than a week ago were found safe Thursday, according to police.

Marie Thompson, 27, and her two sons Jonah, 3, and Noah, 1, were reported missing by Thompson's husband, Jeremy, on April 2.

According to Jeremy Thompson, when he returned home from work on April 1, he found two bottles of juice and two half-eaten sandwiches on the kitchen table. He also noticed the car seats had been taken out of his wife's car, which was still in the driveway.

The couple had an argument on March 9 that led to police being called to their home, but no charges were filed. Jeremy Thompson said things had improved recently.

No additional information was immediately available.
