The N.C. Center for Missing Persons issued a Silver Alert Wednesday night for James Michael Vital Byrd Jr. who was last seen walking away from 7005 Brecken Ridge Ave. in Raleigh.

Byrd, 25, is a black man with short brown hair and brown eyes. He is about 5'8" tall and weighs 277 pounds. 

He was last seen wearing a black, hooded sweatshirt, black pants and sneakers with black and white stripes.

Anyone with information about where Byrd may be is asked to call the Raleigh Police Department at 919-996-2000.
