RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man faces charges of careless driving and disorderly conduct for causing a commotion both outside and inside the Mission Valley Cinema on Avent Ferry Road on Nov. 16.

According to witnesses, Derrick Donta Bell, 29, was speeding in the parking lot and hit three parked cars before spinning into a tree. He then ran screaming into the theater. Bell frightened some movie patrons, but he left before police arrived.
