Raleigh man arrested on child sex charges

Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh man was arrested Monday on sex-related charges involving a 14-year-old child.

Theldon Williams Jr., 44, of 7004 Wood Bend Drive, Apt. L, faces one count of statutory rape/sex offense and one count of indecent liberties with a child.

He was in the Wake County jail Monday evening under a $525,000 bond.

An arrest warrant for Williams indicates that the alleged crimes happened sometime in September, but it did not say how he knows the child.
