Raleigh man accused of trafficking hydrocodone

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man faces charges for possessing and trafficking hydrocodone.

Daryll Kent Maynard, 52, is accused of lying to doctors to get prescriptions for the drug.

Maynard obtained more than 400 doses illegally over a two year period, according to an arrest warrant.

He was being held Saturday in the Wake Count Jail under a $600,000 bond.
