Raleigh man accused of stealing scrap metal from art museum

A Raleigh man is accused of stealing scrap metal from the North Carolina Museum of Art.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh man is accused of stealing scrap metal from the North Carolina Museum of Art.

Walter Lee Martin Jr., 38, of 4036 Pearl Road, is charged with possession of burglary tools and misdemeanor larceny, according to arrest warrants. 

Martin is accused of carrying camouflage clothing, bolt cutters and a crow bar with the intention of breaking into the museum on Blue Ridge Road.
