Raleigh Man Accused of Child Sex Abuse

Raleigh, N.C. — A Raleigh man is facing charges in connection with sexual child abuse.
Jesus Espinoza-Valenzuela, 31, was arrested Monday. He is accused of abusing a 9-year-old between 2004 and 2007.
Espinoza-Valenzuela faces two counts of first-degree statutory sexual offense and one count of statutory rape, police said.
He was being held Monday afternoon at the Wake County jail on $1.5 million bond.
