Raleigh attorney arrested after appearing intoxicated

A Raleigh attorney was arrested Friday night after being taken into custody outside a Raleigh nightclub.

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh attorney was arrested Friday night after being taken into custody outside a Raleigh nightclub.

James Holmes Jr., 35, was arrested after authorities said he appeared intoxicated outside of the City Limits Saloon. 

He faces a list of charges including assault on an officer, resisting a public officer, second-degree trespassing, assault on a female and intoxicated and disruptive behavior.

Holmes was released on a $30,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court Monday.
