A Raeford man was killed last week when his single-engine airplane crashed in southeastern Ohio, authorities said.

<b>RUTLAND, OHIO</b> — A Raeford man was killed last week when his single-engine airplane crashed in southeastern Ohio, authorities said.

Gerald Chamberlain, 72, died Friday morning in the crash in a wooded area near Rutland, authorities said. He was the only person aboard the aircraft.

The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating the crash.
