Raeford man charged with possession of weapon of mass destruction

A Raeford man was charged on Tuesday with having possession of a weapon of mass destruction, according to the Hoke County Sheriff's office.

RAEFORD, N.C. — A Raeford man was charged on Tuesday with possession of a weapon of mass destruction, according to the Hoke County Sheriff's office.

Keshandre Mickell McLean, 22, was charged with possession of a weapon of mass destruction and possession of a firearm by a felon, according to the sheriff's office. He was jailed under $15,000 secured bond.

Deputies responded on Tuesday to 166 Heron Drive in Raeford to a report of shots being fired. When they arrived, the deputies found McLean in possession of the weapon of mass destruction, but the office did not specify what the weapon was.
