Raeford man charged in Hoke County break-in

One person is in the hospital and another is in jail Tuesday after a home invasion in Hoke County last week.

RAEFORD, N.C. — Hoke County sheriff's investigators have arrested a second person in connection with a home invasion and shooting last month.

Christopher Rashad Davis, 18, of 115 Tanner Loop in Raeford, was arrested Tuesday on one count each of breaking and entering and conspiracy to commit felonious larceny in the June 1 break-in at 101 White Chapel Lane near Raeford.

He was in the Hoke County Detention Center Tuesday afternoon under a $600,000 secured bond.

Gregory Paul Lowrie, of Fayetteville, was shot during the break-in.

Investigators say more charges are possible.

Lora Rose McNeil was also arrested in the case last month, according to authorities.
