With short notice, R. Kelly is coming to the Yuengling Center in Tampa on Nov. 10 as an extension of the R&B singer's Memory Lane Tour.

Tickets for the concert, which will also feature Keshia Cole and Adina Howard, go on sale Thursday through Ticketmaster for $49 to $125.

Kelly launched the tour almost a year ago, promising fans a trip down memory lane with "all the hits" stretching back to the early '90s, when Kelly broke through as a solo artist with the single Bump N' Grind. Later hits in a career that has seen millions of albums sold worldwide include I Believe I Can Fly and Ignition (Remix).

The Tampa show announcement comes a day after Kelly's ex-wife in an interview on The View accused him of physically abusing her during their 13-year marriage, including tying her up.

It's the latest in a string of abuse accusations against the singer over the years. Last July, BuzzFeed News reported that Kelly was being accused of grooming several women for a "sex cult," some of them starting when they were under age, in which he controlled all aspects of the women's lives and punished them with physical abuse.

Kelly's management has previously denied those accusations and referred to them as a "public lynching."

In May, Spotify announced that it was removing R. Kelly's music from any of its recommendations or curated playlists, as part of a "hateful speech and conduct" policy, but later reversed that policy as CEO Daniel Ek said the company had "rolled this out wrong."

The singer last performed in Tampa in 2016.

The upcoming show was not booked by the Yuengling Center or its sister venue Amalie Arena, but is rather a facility rental by Columbia, S.C.-based Victory Promotions and BenHated, LLC, said arena spokeswoman Kayla Levasseur. Other recent R. Kelly tour stops have attracted protests and calls for cancellation. Levasseur said the arena will monitor the buzz surrounding the show to determine if any additional security will be necessary.

"Our basic protocol, which is already more heightened, will not change," she said. "We'll evaluate as we get closer and watch what's going on. We're always conscientious of that for all our performances. We always take a look at what the pulse is around the show as it gets closer, and adjust accordingly if we need to."

Jingle Ball lineup: Shawn Mendes, Marshmello, Khalid and a shakeup

If you've gotten a tad weary of seeing a lot of the same performers play the 93.3-FLZ Jingle Ball year after year, the station has some good news. A slate of mostly fresher faces leads the just-announced lineup for Tampa's 10th Jingle Ball, scheduled for Dec. 15 at Amalie Arena. At the top of the bill: Shawn Mendes, right, who, yes, has played Tampa's Jingle Ball in the past, but c'mon, he's SHAWN MENDES, so you can count on an arena full of adoring fans showing up just for him -- even though he's already got another headlining show at Amalie Arena lined up for next summer. Things get intriguing below Mendes, though, including Jingle Ball debuts from DJ and producer Marshmello (Wolves, Friends, Happier), Khalid (Location, Love Lies, Logic's 1-800-273-8255), Christian-ish rapper NF (Let You Down), Bebe Rexha (Florida Georgia Line's Meant to Be, G-Eazy's Me, Myself & I), singer-songwriter Bazzi (Mine). Jingle Ball alum Sabrina Carpenter will also perform. As always, the station is bringing back its free outdoor pre-show, which this year also features three new faces: Bryce Vine (who is also expected to perform inside), Madison Beer and AJ Mitchell. Tickets to the Tampa show start at $41 and go on pre-sale to Capitol One cardholders at 10 a.m. Wedneday. They'll go on sale to 93.3-FLZ VIPs at 11 a.m. Saturday, and the general public at noon Monday. See 933flz.iheart.com for all the details.

Walk the Moon coming to Jannus Live

Walk the Moon have risen so far, so fast that it's hard to remember the last time they played a local club. It would've been at the State Theatre in 2015, right before Shut Up and Dance took over the world. But after gigs at festivals and arenas around Tampa Bay, they're heading back to a more intimate stage. The colorful, energetic group will perform at Jannus Live on Feb. 12, promoters announced Tuesday. Tickets are $27 and up, and they go on sale Friday. Walk the Moon was last in Tampa Bay in June, opening for Thirty Seconds for Mars at the MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheater. That's about par for the course for the band, which has also played the 93.3-FLZ Jingle Ball and 97X Next Big Thing in recent years. But they're an electric live band whose other singles (Anna Sun, Different Colors, One Foot) are nearly as fun live as Shut Up and Dance. A headlining show is overdue.
