Public sessions on Wake superintendent search begin Monday
The public can give its input beginning Monday about what it want in a new Wake County school superintendent.

CARY, N.C. — The public can give its input beginning Monday about what it want in a new Wake County school superintendent.
Monday's forum in Cary, sponsored by search firm McPherson and Jacobson, marks the first of three days and evenings of public input from business leaders, elected officials and student and parent groups.
The Board of Education fired Tony Tata in September and the school system is under interim leadership by Stephen Gainey while they look for a permanent replacement.
The board has said they hope to make a hire by July 1.
