Pregnant woman hit by car in Raleigh

A 22-year-old pregnant woman was hospitalized with broken bones and bruises Monday night after, police say, she darted in front of a car in Raleigh.

The crash happened around 6:45 p.m. at Garner Road and Bragg Street.

The woman is expected to recover.

No charges will be filed against the driver, police said.

I can't believe mroe people aren't hit there. People are ALWAYS walking across the street (night or day), appearing to not care whether someone stops or not.

hopefully the fetus/baby is ok.... Wonder why she darted in front of the car........
