Local pollsters

American Insights: A Raleigh-based firm with Republican ties.
Civitas Poll: Polling conducted by the conservative Civitas Institute. 
Elon University Poll: A poll run by Elon University.
High Point University Survey Research Center: A poll run by High Point University. 
The Pack Poll: A poll run by, and focusing on, students at North Carolina State University. 
Public Policy Polling: A Chapel Hill-based firm with ties to Democrats. 

National pollsters

American Research Group: A subscription-based polling firm that also provides interactive survey tools. 
Gallup: A national polling and research company. 
Marist Poll: The Marist Institute for Public Opinion (MIPO) is a survey research center at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. Founded in 1978, MIPO is home to the Marist Poll and regularly measures public opinion at the local, state and national level.
Mason Dixon: An independent polling firm that conducts public policy and political polling research and communications consulting for news media, advocacy groups, trade associations, public relations and marketing professionals.
Pew Center for People: A national pollster that is an arm of the massive philanthropic and research organization{{/a}}.  
Quinnipiac Polling Institute: The independent Quinnipiac University Poll regularly surveys residents in Colorado, Connecticut, Florida, Iowa, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Virginia and nationwide about political races, state and national elections and issues of public concern, such as schools, taxes, transportation, municipal services and the environment.
Rasmussen Reports: A national, Republican-leaning pollster.  
Survey USA: A national pollster that conducts WRAL News surveys. 
Zogby: BOPE Zogby International is a global public opinion polling and market research firm.

American Association for Public Opinion Research: A trade group for polling professionals that helps set industry standards. 
FiveThirtyEight: The data journalism site run by Nate Silver, who frequently focuses on predicting presidential elections and control of Congress but now works for ESPN on sports-related analytics. 
Pollster: Run by the Huffington Post, Pollster is a poll aggregation and analysis site and has a robust North Carolina polling archive and active tracking of the 2014 U.S. Senate race
Real Clear Politics: A news and commentary site that aggregates a number of polls, including active tracking of North Carolina's 2014 U.S. Senate race.
