Police: Woman locked child in home, solicited officer for sex

Police charged a Raleigh woman Tuesday after she allegedly locked up her child at home and solicited a police officer for sex, according to arrest warrants.

RALEIGH, N.C. — Police charged a Raleigh woman Tuesday after she allegedly locked up her child at home and solicited a police officer for sex, according to arrest warrants. 

April Dorian Hitchcock, 39, of 1312-C Garner Road, faces one count each of soliciting prostitution and misdemeanor child abuse.

She was being held Wednesday in the Wake County jail under a $5,000 bond.
