Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a Monday night robbery in Carrboro.

Police: Teens robbed two at gunpoint in Carrboro
CARRBORO, N.C. — Two teenagers have been charged in connection with a Monday night robbery in Carrboro.

Authorities said two juveniles were robbed at gunpoint just after 10 p.m. on Jones Ferry Road.

Caleb Riley Hunter, 17, and Xzavier Gibson, 18, both of Hillsborough, were later located by officers and one of them had a gun.

Hunter was charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon and two counts of second-degree kidnapping. He was being held at the Orange County Jail under $60,000 bond.

Gibson was charged with two counts of robbery with a dangerous weapon, two counts of second-degree kidnapping, two counts of assault by pointing a gun, carrying a concealed handgun without a permit and simple possession of a schedule IV drug. He was being held at the Orange County Jail under $40,000 bond.

Authorities said nobody was injured during the incident.
