Police seek to ID robber who crawled in drive-thru window

Durham police asked for the public's help Friday to identify a robber who crawled through the drive-thru window of a Wendy's restaurant.

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police asked for the public's help Friday to identify a robber who crawled through the drive-thru window of a Wendy's restaurant.

Police said that shortly after midnight Monday, the man crawled through the window of the restaurant at 910 Martin Luther King Jr. Parkway. He threatened employees with a knife and fled with an undisclosed amount of cash.

Police described him as a black man between 20 and 35 years old. He is between 5 feet 9 inches to 5 feet 10 inches tall and has a medium build.

He wore a Carolina blue bandanna with small white designs, a Carolina blue short-sleeved shirt and dark blue jeans. He also wore a navy blue or black bandanna as a mask over the lower part of his face.
