<b>MIDDLESEX, N.C.</b> — Middlesex police said a man who robbed a bank on Wednesday morning has been taken into custody.

<span style="line-height: 1.6;">Middlesex Police Chief Dennis Murray said a man entered the Southern Bank branch at 11438 E. Finch Road around 10 a.m. The suspect did not display a weapon, and stole an undisclosed amount of money.</span>

Murray said the suspect fled in a burgundy-colored Ford Focus or Ford Escort.
