Police are investigating the possibility that a suspect in a Thursday robbery of a Garner store may have also been involved in one or more robberies in Raleigh.

Police look for Raleigh, Garner robbery suspect
RALEIGH, N.C. — Police are investigating the possibility that a suspect in a Thursday robbery of a Garner store may have also been involved other robberies in Raleigh.

On Thursday the suspect robbed an ABC store, located at 204 Highway 70 East, at 1:13 p.m., police said.

Surveillance photos of the suspect showed a physical resemblance to the suspect in similar robberies in Raleigh.

Police believe the suspect also robbed the Ace Cash Express, 1314 New Bern Ave. in Raleigh on July 8 and June 24.

Ace Cash Express was also robbed on May 23 by a suspect with a similar description.

In each case, the suspect has been described as a black male in his twenties or thirties who stands about 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-9 inches tall and weighs about 155 to 175 pounds. Sunglasses have been worn in each instance and a firearm has been displayed or implied. Clothing descriptions have varied.

The Raleigh Police Department is partnering with the Garner Police Department to identify and arrest the suspect.
