— A Raleigh man was arrested Monday on charges that he kept a minor for sexual servitude, police said.

Kewon Tremayne Perry, 20, of 604 Rawls Drive, was charged with human trafficking of a child. Police said he kept a 17-year-old girl from Oct. 1 to Oct. 7, but the warrant doesn't say where she was held or if she escaped.

Perry was arrested at his home. The arrest report indicated that he is a student at Wake Technical Community College, but college officials said he never enrolled for classes after filling out an application last fall.

He is charged in an unrelated case with robbery with a dangerous weapon and was being held in the Wake County jail under a $450,000 bond.

I can hardly contain myself with some of these idiotic comments on this story.....People really are stupid......As far as the story goes, if he held her against her will & used her sexually, & is convicted of the crime, than he will spend a # of years locked away with people that is a toting the same thing he is, maybe bigger, case closed.

Y'all act like you have a few marbles in your head...Common sense is a good thing...:-)

"Are you people happy? They removed the student line. Good grief."

Are you arguing they should have left it? He wasn't a student there.

I wonder who was paying his tutition at Wake tech I know they do not allow you to attend for free.

Did you read the story? Maybe go back and reread the part that clearly states he never enrolled, only filled out an application....

What does this word "kept" mean in this charge? If he was kidnapping her and not letting her leave, wouldn't he be charged with something more severe?

  • bizarro Oct 29, 2013

Why would the arrest report list where he filled out college applications? As if it has any meaning?

  • thinlady1 Oct 29, 2013

just because he filled out a application does not make him a student.... lock him up and throw away the key.....
