Fayetteville, N.C. — A man was taken to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center early Saturday after being shot in the 300 block of South Cool Spring Street, Fayetteville police said.
Officers responding to a shooting call about 6 a.m. found the man with multiple gunshot wounds. His name was not released, but officials said he was in surgery at 11:45 a.m.
No arrests have been made in the ongoing investigation. Officers said more information about the case will be released as it becomes available.
Anyone with information about the shooting should call the Fayetteville Police Department.
