Fayetteville police have launched an investigation after a man was found dead inside a home Tuesday evening.

<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Fayetteville police have launched an investigation after a man was found dead inside a home Tuesday evening.

Police said a deceased man was located inside a home in the 500 block of Langdon Street at about 6 p.m. by a friend who had been unable to get in contact with him

The name of the man is being withheld until family members are notified.
